Dreaming Trees

Howard Davis Park - Feb 14th - 21st

Dreaming Trees returns to Howard Davis Park, transforming the gardens into a glowing evening trail of light, sound and quiet wonder.

Cutting-edge lighting fixtures and gentle soundscapes guide visitors through the park, revealing familiar spaces re‑imagined after dark.

Stroll beneath the illuminated trees, pause in moments of calm, and enjoy a relaxed, immersive experience designed to be explored at your own pace.

Reflecting Butterfield’s community-focused values, rooted in its small island heritage and mission to protect and grow wealth, Dreaming Trees is free to attend and open to everyone.

New Ticketing for 2026

Tickets are required on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to help us manage capacity during our busiest evenings and ensure everyone can enjoy the trail comfortably.

All tickets are free of charge and are used purely as a crowd‑management tool, allowing us to stagger arrivals and avoid congestion along the route.

Tickets do not apply on quieter midweek nights, which remain open for walk‑up entry. Even on ticketed evenings, Dreaming Trees remains a free event — with an optional pay what you can, if you can contribution for those who wish to support its future.

Dreaming Trees is made possible by the support of volunteers who help create a safe, welcoming and relaxed experience for all visitors. Volunteering is a great way to be part of the event, meet new people and support a much‑loved community project.

Volunteer roles include welcoming visitors, helping with wayfinding along the trail and supporting the event team during busy periods. No previous experience is required — full briefings and on‑site support will be provided.
